Jarvis is director of the planetarium for the Observatory Science Centre at Herstmonceux; the former home of the Royal Greenwich Observatory. He offers tailored courses, and brings with him an array of telescopes to help you observe and understand the night sky. If the sky is clear, he’ll help you identify the Milky Way, see the rings of Saturn and count the moons of Neptune all from the comfort of the Eastwood courtyard.

Clay pigeon shooting can be organised for family or corporate groups in Eastwood’s own grounds. Our friendly (and fully licenced) instructors will set up a variety of different traps to suit all ages and experience levels. Please drop Rosie a line to get this organised.

Eastwood is situated in the heart of the English wine growing region and sampling the local produce is an essential part of the Eastwood experience! Our wine tutor has spent years cultivating her knowledge and love of wine and works with some of the best local vineyards in East Sussex. She offers exclusive wine tastings at Eastwood and can offer tasting sessions in locally sourced sparkling and wines but can also offer tastings from around the world if you would prefer.

Rosie, our resident mixologist, will rustle up some incredible pre-dinner cocktails. These can be served on the sun terrace, around the pool or, on winter’s evenings around the roaring log fire in the hall.

Our chef is available for BBQs, as well as 3 course dinners. With fresh salads, freshly baked bread and locally sourced rare-bread meat, this is in a class of its own. Available for £15 per head for a generous main course (with seconds!), or £20 per head including a fruit tart desert.

For guests wanting the fun bringing to them, we can arrange for a mobile climbing wall to come to you at Eastwood. With four separate climbing routes, harnesses, helmets and belays, you can scale the wall and end up eye-to-eye with the famous Eastwood lion! Ideal for company away days or family groups.

Our resident tennis coach will help you get match ready. Coaching is available for guests of any age and level.

Find your zen in our wooden den. And for those who want a little more of a workout, we also offer personal training sessions.

We offer pamper parties on site at Eastwood, including facials, massages, manicure, pedicure and gel polish. Available individually or for groups, our guests often opt to combine this with our nanny services to give a moment of indulgent relaxation!
